Youth Worker - 1st Shift PRN (Weekends)

Hillcrest Youth Services is currently seeking a 1st Shift, Weekends, PRN (part-time, as-needed) Youth Worker to join our team of dedicated professionals. WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR? Supervision of residents. Work schedule: First Shift 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Applicants must be available a minimum of three (3) days per month. A 2-week training program (Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM) is required upon hire. Ability to be a positive role model. Provide fair and constructive discipline to the residents. Maintain security and safety of facility and residents at all times. Maintain complete and accurate resident records. Ability to manage personal stress. Administer appropriate medication(s). Knowledge of policy and procedure manual. Transportation of residents. Maintain laundry and general cleaning for each unit. Ability to work with youth of all ages. Screen all admissions/referrals for appropriateness of Hillcrest's programming.
