Summary The Senior Analyst is responsible for project execution support, carrier coordination, shipment tracking, operational reporting, cost monitoring, and customer service activities while proactively identifying and resolving transportation and operational issues. The role collaborates with both internal departments and external business partners to ensure service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. In addition to High & Heavy operations, this position supports Third-Party Logistics (TPL) transportation activities, including drayage, over-the-road (OTR), intermodal transportation, warehousing coordination, and customer supply chain requirements. The Senior Analyst assists in transportation planning, execution, shipment visibility, and operational performance management. By following established operating procedures and continuously improving logistics processes, this position contributes to operational excellence, business growth, profitability, and the successful expansion of High & Heavy and TPL business activities. Responsibilities Transportation & Supply Chain Operations Support • Support daily transportation and supply chain operations, including Drayage, OTR (Over-the-Road), Intermodal, Warehousing, and Distribution services. • Coordinate transportation schedules, shipment planning, dispatch activities, and logistics requirements based on customer needs. • Collaborate with carriers, warehouses, ports, rail providers, customers, and internal departments to ensure efficient and reliable logistics operations. • Monitor daily transportation activities and operational performance to ensure compliance with customer requirements, service level agreements (SLAs), and operational standards. • Support new business implementations and operational start-up activities to ensure smooth service transitions and operational stability. High & Heavy & Specialized Logistics Support • Support transportation operations involving Heavy Haul, Oversized Cargo, Project Cargo, ESS, and other specialized logistics projects. • Assist in coordinating project transportation requirements, equipment sourcing, transportation partners, permits, and operational schedules. • Monitor project milestones, transportation progress, and operational risks to support successful project execution. • Participate in resolving operational challenges and customer requirements related to specialized transportation services. Shipment Tracking & Operational Monitoring • Track shipment movements, delivery status, inventory transfers, and key operational performance indicators. • Monitor transportation exceptions, service disruptions, delays, and operational risks while supporting timely resolution efforts. • Respond to urgent transportation requests, customer escalations, and operational issues by coordinating with relevant internal and external stakeholders. • Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Customer Service & Business Support • Serve as a key operational contact for customers, carriers, and logistics partners. • Provide regular updates on shipment status, transportation activities, project progress, and operational performance. • Respond to customer inquiries and operational issues in a timely and professional manner. • Support business development activities, customer relationship management, and new business opportunities through operational expertise and service support. Data Management, Reporting & Process Improvement • Review, organize, and maintain logistics documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), Proof of Delivery (POD), invoices, rate sheets, and other transportation-related records. • Prepare operational reports, KPI performance analyses, cost analyses, and management reports. • Support the development and implementation of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), process standardization, and operational best practices. Field Operations Support • Support on-site logistics operations at customer locations, warehouses, ports, and project sites as required. • Assist with operational setup activities, issue resolution, and service stabilization efforts during project implementation and business expansion initiatives. Reporting & Performance Support • Assist in maintaining operational KPI and performance data. • Support the preparation of recurring operational and customer reports. Carrier & Vendor Coordination • Support communication with carriers, warehouses, and logistics service providers. • Follow up on shipment schedules, appointments, and service updates. Process Compliance & Administrative Support • Follow company policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Support audits, compliance activities, and other duties as assigned. All benefits pursuant to Company policy Skills • Basic knowledge of transportation, logistics, and supply chain operations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics management systems. • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare operational documentation. • Ability to follow established procedures, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Ability to identify operational issues and appropriately escalate concerns. • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work effectively with customers, carriers, and cross-functional teams. Compensation Range $54,784 - $59,765
