Building Attendant / Zamboni Operator - CIA

Summary: The Building Coordinator is responsible for care of the ice and facility during shift as well as assisting with weekly ice maintenance and minor equipment repairs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain general cleanliness of facility. Operate Zamboni in order to resurface ice. Complete special projects, including painting and other minor aesthetic and repair work. Perform weekly maintenance with Maintenance Supervisor. Make minor repairs to the Zamboni. Secure the building in opening or closing hours. Know and follow emergency action procedures. Monitor used of facility in all areas. Supervise events and programs in facility as necessary Maintain ice schedule. Enforce rules of facility. Field and answer questions to the best of their ability. Perform other Park District related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
