Maintenance Supervisor

Overview: The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the maintenance department in a fast-paced meat packing facility. This role ensures all equipment, machinery, and infrastructure are functioning efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and supporting production goals. The supervisor leads a team of maintenance technicians and coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Responsibilities: Supervise and schedule maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance. Monitor and maintain critical equipment such as conveyors, refrigeration systems, packaging machines, and hydraulic systems. Ensure compliance with USDA, OSHA, and company safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and work orders. Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
