What You'll Own: IT Strategy & Leadership — Define and execute the IT roadmap aligned with business goals; lead, mentor, and grow the IT team. Policy, Compliance & Governance — Design, implement & maintain IT policies, compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR), and security standards using tools like Scrut and Sprinto . Endpoint & Device Management — Own end-to-end device lifecycle management across Windows and Mac environments via MDM solutions (Intune/Jamf/MobileIron) and Apple Business Manager (ABM) . Security Operations — Drive endpoint security, patch management, and threat detection with NinjaOne and SentinelOne . Network & Infrastructure — Manage and optimize DHCP, WAPs, firewalls, internet connectivity , and overall network architecture for performance, uptime, and security. Backup, Recovery & Disaster Resilience — Architect and maintain robust BCP/DR strategies to ensure business continuity. Incident Response & Vulnerability Management — Lead threat detection, vulnerability assessments, audits, and incident response playbooks. Asset Management — Track, secure, and optimize every laptop, server, and mobile device across the organization. Vendor & Stakeholder Management — Manage IT vendors, negotiate contracts, and partner with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Engineering) to enable business outcomes. Microsoft 365 Administration — Oversee Office 365 / M365 ecosystem including identity, access, and collaboration tools. What You Bring: 8+ years of hands-on IT & security experience. Proven expertise managing NinjaOne, SentinelOne , and MDM tools ( Intune / Jamf / MobileIron / ABM ). Strong experience administering Microsoft 365 environments and managing hybrid Windows and Mac fleets. Hands-on knowledge of networking essentials — DHCP, WAPs, firewalls, VPNs, and internet/ISP management. Experience driving compliance and audits using Scrut, Sprinto , or similar GRC platforms. Deep understanding of security hardening, vulnerability management, and incident response . Demonstrated success building and scaling IT systems from 0 to 100 in a fast-paced startup environment. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. A builder's mindset, strong problem-solving ability, and ownership-driven attitude. Good to Have: Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Security , or equivalent. Experience in SaaS / fintech / climate-tech startups.
