Keeley Construction is looking to hire a Traveling Project Manager for our Civil Infrastructure Group in St. Louis, MO. This individual must be willing to travel to jobsite locations based on project demands.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of assigned projects including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
  • Ability to manage multiple project teams and plan/schedule multiple projects. Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities to meet deadlines.
  • Balance time between projects, estimating, and business development.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with owners, design professionals, subcontractors, and other team members.
  • Oversee project engineers, assistant project managers, project managers, and field staff. Take responsibility for growing and guiding their team’s growth within their roles. Opinions and advice of the senior project manager are sought out to overcome challenges and constructability.
  • Partakes in proposal meetings to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas.
  • Maintain all profit and performance responsibility on projects. Strong financial and resource management skills to forecast project costs, subcontractor outcomes, and identify and rectify potential and actual risks associated with their projects.
  • Manages the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors.
  • Responsible for all contracts & subcontractor/vendor roles associated with their projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus a minimum of five years of experience performing primary responsibilities listed above.
  • Proficient with Outlook, Excel and Word is a plus.
