About the role

Title: .Net Architect Duration: 12+ months Location: Columbia, SC Description: Responsible for the overall design of the enterprise wide data/information architecture, which maps to the enterprise architecture and balances the need for access against security and performance requirements. Knowledgeable in most aspects of designing and constructing data architectures, operational data stores, and data marts. Focuses on enterprise wide data modeling and database design. Defines data/information architecture standards, policies and procedures for the organization, structure, attributes and nomenclature of data elements, and applies accepted data content standards to technology projects. Facilitates consistent business analysis, data acquisition and access analysis and design, Database Management Systems optimization, archiving and recovery strategy, load strategy design and implementation, security and change management at the enterprise level. May require a bachelor's or master's degree in a related area and 7+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: THIS EFFORT IS FOR DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT OF SOUTH CAROLINA JUDICIAL DEPARTMENT (SCJD) SOFTWARE TO PROVIDE ELECTRONIC CITATION AND COURT DATA INTERFACES BETWEEN SCJD, THE SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES (SCDMV), AND OTHER AGENCIES AS NEEDED. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: • UNDER LIMITED SUPERVISION, ASSIST THE SCJD CMS APPLICATION TEAM WITH DEVELOPMENT, DEPLOYMENT AND SUPPORT OF SOFTWARE TO SUPPORT ELECTRONIC CITATION AND DISPOSITION REPORTING (E-TICKETING).• DEVELOP DATA INTERFACES WITH SCDMV TO IMPORT CITATION DATA INTO CMS.• UPDATE EXISTING DISPOSITION REPORTING INTERFACE SERVICE AS NEEDED.• DEVELOP A WEB PORTAL THAT ALLOWS COURTS TO RETRIEVE CITATION DATA FROM SCDMV AND REPORT DISPOSITIONS TO SCDMV.• PROVIDE SUPPORT AND PROBLEM SOLVING ASSISTANCE ON QUESTIONS AND ISSUES ARISING FROM THE E-TICKETING.• DEPLOY AND PROVIDE INSTALLATION SUPPORT TO COUNTIES.• PROVIDE KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER AND DOCUMENTATION RELATED TO THE DESIGN, DEPLOYMENT AND SUPPORT OF INTERFACE SOFTWARE• WORK WITH COUNTY PERSONNEL IN ORDER TO SUPPORT E-TICKETING APPLICATIONS REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): .NET/C# WCF XML/XSLT SQL PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): TFS CA PLEX .Net with State experience required All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
