Medication Technician - Chantilly Heights

Working in memory care is about more than completing a task or passing medication. What You’ll Do As a Medication Technician, you’ll work closely with our nursing and care teams to support the health, safety, and well-being of our residents. Responsibilities include: • Safely administer medications according to physician orders, resident care plans, and applicable regulations • Accurately document medication administration and maintain appropriate medication records • Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition, behavior, or concerns to the appropriate team member • Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care as needed • Provide reassurance, redirection, and compassionate support to residents living with memory impairment • Respond promptly and respectfully to resident needs • Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the care team • Follow medication management procedures, infection-control practices, and community safety standards • Help create a calm, comfortable, and engaging environment for our residents • Treat every resident with patience, dignity, and respect What We’re Looking For • Current Medication Aide/Medication Technician credentials as required by the Commonwealth of Virginia • Previous senior living, assisted living, or memory care experience is preferred Current Opportunities ☀️ Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Full-Time & Part-Time opportunities available • Evening Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Part-Time opportunities available If you're looking for a position where your compassion and attention to detail are just as important as your skills, we'd love to meet you.
