About the role

The team consists of highly experienced product experts who possess functional knowledge, deep technical expertise across a wide range of industry-standard technologies and typically have experience designing, managing and implementing new customer solutions in their product or platform area. The Cloud Architect based in Japan is responsible for the operational readiness of the IFS Cloud product when hosted in the IFS-NEC shared tenant. This involves a continuous hands-on involvement with all new GTO initiative that will ultimately deliver new functionality for our NEC partner to leverage for their customers. Validating changes to automation (CD/CI), delivery of new functionality and testing impacts to existing automated pipelines form a significant part of this role. Develop comprehensive cloud architecture solutions that address business requirements and operational improvements. Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Lead the implementation of cloud solutions, including the configuration of cloud-based services, deployment of applications, and migration of existing systems to the cloud Security and Compliance: Ensure that cloud solutions comply with industry standards and regulations. Implement security best practices to protect data and applications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and engineering teams on best practices for cloud technologies and architectures. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to understand requirements, gather feedback, and ensure successful project delivery. Quickly and efficiently react and resolve support tasks and customer escalations Provide guidance to the support function on how to resolve customer issues that get escalated to the team Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred. Proficient at using the standard IT service management tooling (ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint etc) You must be highly experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or a related field. Experience with multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is required. Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Proficiency in cloud services such as virtualization, storage, networking, and databases Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues and devise effective solutions.
