Bear River Valley Hospital Information Desk Volunteer

Volunteer Description: Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare. The Information Desk Volunteer serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff. Volunteers provide a warm welcome, accurate directions, and helpful information to ensure a positive experience at the hospital. Our current openings are Wednesday's 12pm-3pm, Thursday's 12pm-3pm, and Friday's 9am-12pm. Key Responsibilities: Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner Provide directions and escort guests to destinations as needed Answer general questions about hospital services, locations, and procedures Offer wheelchair assistance when needed Collaborate with hospital staff to meet visitor and patient needs Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming desk area Qualifications: Friendly, approachable, and patient-focused Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in a busy environment Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Dependable and punctual Able to walk or stand for periods of time and push a wheelchair if needed Commitment: Minimum of one 3 hour shift per week Minimum 6-month commitment preferred No Additional Description Available Location: Intermountain Health Bear River Valley Hospital City: Tremonton State: Utah Intermountain Health is an equal opportunity employer.
