Potential candidates should be prepared to spend at least one day in classroom training and multiple days in the field for onsite training at various locations. These duties may include: Work as an undercover agent to prevent theft Detect and observe potential shoplifters Conduct apprehensions and recoveries as described in post orders Document incidents, report emergencies and contact appropriate authorities Utilize smartphone or tablet to maintain daily electronic reports Work closely with local law enforcement and provide detailed statements on theft cases This position requires standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, bending, and lifting. A portion of some positions may require sitting in front of a computer or monitor for periods of time.
