About the role

Our office Lanap & Implant Center of Pennsylvania – Trappe office is looking for a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist for our periodontal practice. Our practice is renowned for its high quality, outstanding staff, and unmatched patient care. Modern technology (Dentrix software and Digital radiographs)

Your Responsibilities

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in maintaining our patient’s oral health and promoting overall well-being. If you are dedicated, detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping patients achieve excellent oral hygiene, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough and accurate oral assessments to identify patients' oral health conditions.
  • Clean and remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth using various dental instruments.
  • Administer local anesthesia to patients as required for dental procedures.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash.
  • Provide personalized recommendations for oral care products based on individual patient needs.
  • Take dental X-rays and process them for the dentist's evaluation.
  • Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride varnishes or sealants to protect patients' teeth.
  • Conduct periodontal charting and assist the dentist in identifying and treating gum diseases.

As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.

  • 3+ years of experience as a dental Hygienist .
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Well-organized and reliable
  • A high school diplomas <span data-ccp-props="{"201341983&quo
